Detention Prevention:
A Second Chance
FPCC provides services to incarcerated youth at the Clallam County Juvenile Detention Facility.
Education and clinical services are provided weekly.
Classroom education is modeled after the Adolescent Support Groups curriculum, but with a greater focus on positive decision-making and consequential thinking.
Youth who are identified by the Health Educator or detention staff as needing clinical services are seen on-site by FPCC nursing staff.
An on-site registered nurse from FPCC provides primary care and monitors medications on a daily basis.
